Re-reading " What's Your Story?" by Cheryl E. Rodriguez. She is a good lady who lives life just like the rest of us have. She talks about the answers within those times in which we feel alone. Your "story" is special and is part of the answer to it's own obstacles. -Ted Love, Temecula, CA
It is our pleasure to recommend “What’s Your Story?". The inspirational book came as a result of teaching and encouraging others to be the star and Hero of their own action adventure called LIFE. Our tests become testimonies, our testimonies become the Spirit of Prophesy for others to rise up and fulfill their God-given destiny. Outstanding book, so proud of you for facing your Giants and fulfilling your dreams of writing. - Sr. Pastors Daniel & Theresa Jones, Summit Church, San Marcos, CA
I enjoyed EXPOSED! It took me deeper. You taught the reader to see what is hidden, why and how bringing it to the Light is the way to go. You filled us with knowledge that "ripped off the blinders," and "unveiled the masks" leading to the Truth. I can say that I am not the same after reading this book. -Dianna Bailey. Oceanside, CA
You let the reader know that a life with God is not full of rainbows and unicorns. I also learned that “Exposed” to God is more than a heart thing. Your mind set needs just as much work. - Jagger Hansen, San Marcos, CA
Ultimately, I gleaned from Exposed! that there is nowhere too dark for God to shine, no one too broken for Him to fix, and no one too “ugly” for Him to restore to beauty. His light reveals everything, and whether it is good or bad, He is the only one who can help us work through all our junk to partake in a loving and intimate relationship with Him. We are exposed to terrible things every day, but once we have been exposed to the true love of our Savior, we can begin to break down those negative influences in our lives and start walking on the road of recovery with Him. Being exposed is the best thing that could happen to us. - Natalie McKemy, Student, CSUSM, CA
“Exposed” explores the body, soul, and spirit of man with all its debauchery and goodness, its ugliness and beauty, its fragility and strength. “Exposed” is a book that is inspiring and healing for many of life’s problems. It is one that is highly recommended for all; from the curious, to the unbeliever to the Christian and those in ministry. - Dr. Tal Klaus, Vision International University, CA
Exposed! is a must read; it is an enlightening examination of life. Throughout the book, the author weaves a beautiful tapestry of life’s exposure. She reveals how we can through our experiences endeavor to make choices to live an overcoming life through Christ. -Dr. Dee Klaus, Dean of Women Studies, Vision International University, CA
Thank you for "exposing" yourself, researching this topic, sharing your life and your knowledge with those who will read this book. It is a thought provoker for sure. - Debbie Odash, Vista, CA
Cheryl’s research and writing skill presents an informative and educated view of this diverse subject in an easy to understand format. Exposed! offers a great blend of science, psychology, biblical revelation and real life experience to help its readers better recognize the affects of life’s exposure. In particular, chapter eight “Perilous Times- Exposure to Trauma” compels the reader to reach out to victims of crisis, PTSD and to those who have been violated. Cheryl encourages you to impart your courage into others. She boldly proclaims that one person can make a difference; she grips you with the plea to “stand between the living and the dead.” -Dr. Greg Wark, Force Ministries
As a pastor in ministry for over 13 years, I have come to realize and embrace the words of Jesus when he said, "Hard is the way that leads to life" (Matthew 7:14). Cheryl reminds us in this inspiring book that the emphasis is not on “hard” but on “life.” The eternal, abundant, passionate, and forever pleasurable life is so worth the fight. It's only when we are open to the reality of life's exposures that we can look back at those very dark and traumatic moments and see them as purposeful. -Pastor Ray Owens, The River Church, San Marcos, CA
Seasons: Autumn and Winter: Expressions of Gratitude and Merry Moments by Cheryl E Rodriguez is an interesting read and the format of the book is somewhat unique. Although Seasons: Autumn and Winter is a non-fiction book of stories, each story in this book is only a page or two long, contains quotes from various sources, and in fact some of the stories feel more like poetry than prose. That being said, there is an overall sense of joy, gratefulness, and peace through this book and a lesson in how to find joy in the little daily things in life and all seasons of life. The writing style is soothing and genuine which makes the stories stand out, even though they appear to be simplistic at first glance. Overall, there is a message of hope and peace that comes through this book and I enjoyed reading it. - Review by Gisela Dixon for Readers' Favorite 5 stars
Seasons: Autumn and Winter - Expressions of Gratitude and Merry Moments I found the book a very easy read. I could identify with many of the life moments she covers. A few examples are family; travel; grief; friends; second chances and many more. She points to biblical truths and plain common sense ideals to ensure life does not become burdensome. Cheryl Rodriguez encourages the reader to never give up, but to find strength in the often mundane, everyday events that are experienced by many of us. Like me, you will see similarities throughout the chapters and will discover how to break the negatives with words of thankfulness, and gratitude for the miracle of life. Recommended. Uplifting. Inspiring. - Review by Patricia Day Reader's Favorite 5 stars
