As I was reading this morning vivid images transpired from the author's analogy of prayer. When we pray we are "laying down tracks for God's power to travel" on. Interesting concept, isn't it. I concluded, some prayers go on and on into the distance with the answers yet to be seen. Others break through barriers, strong-holds and mountainous giants. Sometimes our prayers create bridges over the chasms of life. The wonder of prayer is if we continue, stand firm, and lay down those tracks, timeless resolute and monumental results are seen as statutes of light against the darkest of times.
